Amazon.com Wish List

Waiting lists to check out popular books and bestsellers are long and the Library can’t always buy enough copies.  Now you can help shorten the waiting lists through the Me First book donation program.

• The library has created a list of high-demand books that you can purchase through a special Amazon.comWish List.
• Your purchase of a Wish List title meets an immediate and specific need. (Note: please do not purchase books for the Library that are not specifically requested on the Wish List.)
• Wish List items are mailed directly to the Library’s processing center.
• A bookplate will go into your purchase to acknowledge your donation.
• You get to be the first person to read that copy.
• You can go to your Amazon.com account if you want to print out a copy of your order.

Me First Program

Purchase an adult, teen or children’s book for the San Bernardino County Library through the Amazon.com Me First program and be the first to read it.

• You must be signed up for Library e-mail notification.
• Go to the Library’s website and click on the Me First link
• Select the books you would like to add to the Library collection from the Library’s Amazon.com Wish List by clicking on the “Add to Cart” or “Pre-Order” link.
• If “Buy Now with 1-Click” setting is enabled, please be sure to click instead on “Proceed to Check Out” which appears above it.
• Go to Check out. Choose “San Bernardino County Library” as the Ship To Address.
• At the bottom of the “Shipping Details” page, after verifying the title(s) chosen and quantity of copies, check the box next to “Ordering a gift?”
• Enter the words “Me First” your name, your e-mail address and the library branch where you wish to pick up the book in the text box on the right side:

Me First
Your name
Your e-mail address
Your pick-up branch

• Complete your purchase.  When the book arrives at the branch you will receive a notice that the “Me First” book is on hold for you.
• The branch that you choose as your pick-up location will become the owning library for your donation(s).
